haven't updated in about a week again. I've edited like two folders of photos so far already, it's time to blog before it all piles up higher.

I really have no idea how i tahan so long, considering i was the type to skip at least 1-2 days a week when i was schooling in MG. I've been going to school in np EVERY SINGLE DAY that i need to since the start of the program (28jan) and that itself sounds crazy.

CATS today had us all on our feet with more cute activities given to us by Alice.

28 February - 1 March; NP Preparation Camp/ Sports Camp


I think i carry the same attitude to most camps i attend. I go there with absolute unwillingness and by the second or third day get so used to it I don't really want it to end. Not like it's really a surprize for me to exclaim I fell sick during the camp. This crazy headache/giddyness made me miss touch rugby, the nightwalk, canoe polo and dragon boating. Thank goodness i was up and well for the campfire on the second night (:


group identity; GAIA

reached late on the first day to find out that i'm posted to group ONE; Gaia with Ziq & Doreen (only two FMS-ers). Didn't really know anyone else in the group that well so that kinda felt like a bad start. It didn't help that I had to play that stupid caterpillar game again (read late jan/early feb's post about the sick blister) and as you would have guessed. The same blister appeared in the same place ): nasty.







crazy whole series of "ghost" photos we took in the area where we were sleeping. That was on the first night after trying out Track&Field (Running, High Jump & Long Jump), Frisbee, Dodgeball and Floorball. Gave touchrug a miss as i wasn't feeling well then already.

The second day was a breeze for me. I slept for 4hours in aircon while the rest of the DPA people went to kallang for dragonboating (i would wanted to try it though :/) i felt so so so much better after that and so campfire that night for me was great :D

blindfold walk to campfire site, lighting up of the campfire, group cheers, follow the leader, campfire songs, spartans vs GL battle. The whole thing felt pretty short, but it was enjoyable.

that night i experienced the flexibility and differences of a secondary school camp and a poly one. we were allowed to stay up so long as we dont disturb the rest and stayed within the "safe area". At 2am, the 9 usual FMS-ers were still playing oldschool games. The groups started turning in though, and at 4am only 2 groups were left outside. I spent the morning writing a song with Serene & Haiqal for the awesome people in the camp. Talk about a repetitive, catchy chorus :P Ended up staying up till 5am just talking to the GLs. Thank goodness for the 4hour nap in the afternoon :x

camp ended on a high note for me. I'm glad i got to know more people through this camp though (omg i sound so much like im writing a reflections essay). Gaia, Kaya! -__-

Gaia's three awesome GLs; Gab Henry & Jocelyn

I should dedicate a paragraph to them, no? I always grow to like my GLs alot after each camp, and it doesnt differ for this one :D I thought it was pretty funny how they were the ones who choose our very annoying-yet-cute identity & all. Oh, and I'm supposed to say how Gab is very skinny and borat-looking and how he scares th shit outta Serene when he puts the cushion on his back. Also, how "AH Henry AH" is tres goodlooking, how every girl is secretly stalking him, and how every taxi driver is willing to give him free rides. then of course theres jocelyn, who is just chio-- so she's the chiobu.
